Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground turkey, 1 minced garlic clove, half the finely chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Form into small meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs for 5 to 6 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Add remaining onion and garlic; cook 2 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes and broth. Simmer 10 minutes until meatballs are cooked through.
- Stir in spinach and cook 1 to 2 minutes until wilted.
- Serve in shallow bowls with sauce spooned over the top.
