Ingredients

  • White Shrimp Raw 13/15 (on sale) 1 lb, peeled/deveined $12.99/lb (sale)
  • Green Asparagus (on sale) 1 lb, trimmed $2.99 (sale)
  • Kroger® Peeled Garlic 2 cloves, minced $2.99 (6 oz)
  • Fresh Organic Lemon - Each 1 lemon (zest + juice) $1.29
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Kosher salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat grill to medium-high (about 450°F).
  2. Toss shrimp and asparagus with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
  3. Grill asparagus 6–8 minutes total, turning occasionally, until crisp-tender.
  4. Grill shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and just firm.
  5. Finish everything with lemon juice and serve immediately.

Health notes: Lean protein + high-fiber veg; very light overall unless served with buttery sides.

Drink pairing: Albariño, dry rosé, or a crisp sparkling wine.
