Stovetop Grapefruit-Mustard Glazed Pork Loin
A fast stove-top glaze that turns grapefruit into a tangy-sweet sauce for sale pork loin. Great with roasted broccoli/cauliflower or green beans.

- Kroger® Fresh Natural Pork Loin Boneless (sale) 12 oz, sliced into 2 chops or medallions $2.99/lb
- Grapefruit 1 (zest + 1/2 cup juice) $6.49/3 lb bag
- Jumbo Yellow Onion (sale) 1/2 small, thinly sliced $1.29/lb
- Dijon mustard 1 tsp
- Honey 1–2 tsp
- Olive oil 1 Tbsp
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Juice grapefruit to get about 1/2 cup; zest a little (optional).
- Sear pork: Season pork with salt/pepper. Sear in 1 Tbsp oil over medium-high 2–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness) to 145°F; remove to plate.
- Soften onion in the same pan 2–3 minutes.
- Glaze: Add grapefruit juice, 1 tsp Dijon, and 1–2 tsp honey. Simmer 3–5 minutes until syrupy. Stir in a pinch of zest if using.
- Return pork to pan 30–60 seconds to coat, then serve with sauce spooned over top.
Health notes: Protein-forward; control sugar by using honey sparingly.
