- Broccoli Crown 1 lb $3.29/lb
- Carrots 1 lb $1.69/lb
- Garlic 2 cloves $1.50 each
- Oil, salt, pepper to taste pantry
Instructions
- Heat oven to 425°F.
- Cut 1 lb broccoli into florets and 1 lb carrots into sticks or coins.
- Toss with oil, salt, and pepper on a sheet pan.
- Roast 20 to 25 minutes until browned at edges and tender.
- Add 2 minced garlic cloves for the final 3 minutes if desired.
- Cool and portion.
